Dear Crew, each of these (Co-)Lead roles is an open invitation to co-create the world of PÂVOIA. These roles are not just about responsibility, but about leadership through presence, creativity, and care. As a (Co-)Lead, you bring your unique vibe and help guide others in your area before, during, and after the festival.
Taking on a (Co-)Lead role requires dedication: involvement in the months and weeks leading up to the festival, being present on-site throughout the event, and staying engaged in the wrap-up phase. Many tasks can be done remotely, but consistency and reliability are key. ❤️
Role Summary: You lead the takedown process after the festival and ensure that the space is left clean, respectful, and well-organized. This role holds the final thread of the event — making sure all areas around the house and the forest are treated with care, and that everything we built is stored, returned, or dismantled mindfully. It’s a physically active and community-oriented job that invites groundedness and leadership during the post-festival phase. The post-week, just like the pre-festival-week, has its own unique vibe and involves careful planning of post-PÂVOIA-year logistics and decision making. Also, we traditionally hold a post-week crew event for everyone present (e.g. a canoe-tour, a joint barbeque or crew rave, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate takedown schedule and shift assignments
Communicate with all department leads to identify which structures need to stay/go
Oversee sorting, storing and transportation of reusable materials
Organize clean-up of the site, working with waste and sustainability teams
Take inventory of tools and materials
Ensure all rented or borrowed items are returned properly
Document challenges and improvement ideas for next year
Help maintain team spirit and motivation during the breakdown days
Requirements:
Hands-on, proactive mindset
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions
Basic knowledge of tools and storage logistics
Availability for at least 3 days post-festival + planning of post-week logistics and team before the festival
Ability to lead a small team under time constraints
Role Summary: You hold space for wellbeing and conflict-sensitive community care, creating an environment that is safe and welcoming for everyone. This role centers emotional intelligence, clarity, and the ability to respond with calm presence in challenging situations. You’ll help shape a culture of consent, inclusivity, and trust across the festival site — not by enforcing, but by embodying care and responsibility. You will be supported by a small team and help ensure our protocols are meaningful and active.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop awareness and response protocols in collaboration with core team
Recruit and train the awareness crew
Coordinate a 24/7 presence during the festival
